Imperia car factory

Once a world famous Belgian manufacturer of sports cars. In the interbellum (interwar period) the company fused with other Belgian car makers like Nagant (also made rifles), Excelsior and Minerva. It was during this period of success that they decided to make a new test track. Their factory was located in a narrow valley, next to a river. Lacking the space for a test track they decided to build a track partly on their roof. The track was roughly 170m by 100m, nowadays only half of that remains.
